Ulpiana Aliaj, born in Tirana, Albania, is a talented opera singer. She graduated from the “C. Monteverdi” Conservatory in Bolzano, Italy. Throughout her career, she has won numerous international prizes, including the First Prize in the “Citta di Barletta” Singing Competition in 2005 and the First Prize in the “Eistendorf” Singing Competition in London in 2006.

In 2022, she performed as Mari in “Ivan IV” by G. Bizet at the Meiningen Stadtheater and as Fiordiliggi in W.A. Mozart’s “Cosi fan tutte” in Turin, Italy. In 2021, she made her debut at the Salzburg Landestheater as Diva in G. Donizetti’s “Viva la Diva.” In 2017, she debuted as Violetta Valery in G. Verdi’s “La Traviata” at the National Theater of Opera and Ballet in Tirana.

She has also performed in various other roles, including Donna Anna in “Don Giovanni” and Gilda in “Rigoletto” by G. Verdi. Additionally, she has portrayed Pamina in W.A. Mozart’s “Die Zauberflote” at the Royal Opera House of Muskat and the Contessa d’Almaviva in “Le Nozze di Figaro” at Statheater Biel/Solothurn in Switzerland.

Since 2020, she has been a Professor of Vocal Performance at the University of Arts in Tirana.
