Rame Lahaj is a Kosovar operatic tenor. Among his notable roles are Alfredo (La Traviata), Duke of Mantua (Rigoletto), and Rodolfo (La Bohème). Lahaj is considered as one of the first Kosovo opera artists to have performed in the world's most prominent opera houses, sharing stage with opera legends such as Placido Domingo, who later on honored him with The World Opera Competition's prize, "Operalia". During his first decade in the profession, Lahaj appeared on the most prestigious stages of opera houses.
Ulpiana Aliaj, a soprano from Tirana, Albania, is a winner of many international singing competitions. She has performed in a variety of operas and roles, including her debut as Violetta Valery in "La Traviata" and performances as Contessa Almaviva in "Le nozze di Figaro" and Fiordiliggi in "Cosi fan tutte". She has also played roles such as Gilda in "Rigoletto" and Donna Fiorilla in "Il Turco in Italia". In addition to her career as a performer, she is a professor of vocal performance at the University of Arts in Tirana.
Besa Luzha is an experienced music teaching trainer and researcher, curriculum developer, and department manager for more than 20 years in the University of Prishtina Faculty of Arts-Music Department. In addition, she has been actively engaged in policy development, coordination, and communication as Program Coordinator at Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, Prishtina Office, promoting social democracy. Her love for classical music has influenced her to become an active festival organizer since 1999, re-establishing the music life in postwar Kosovo.
Project Manager Rona Kokaj is a dynamic and accomplished marketing professional with a passion for event planning and community engagement. She earned her degree in Marketing and went on to apply her skills and knowledge as a valued employee of the Municipality of Prishtina. Rona's dedication to promoting positive change and uplifting her community is evidenced by her active involvement in various events and initiatives, including the Sunny Hill Festival.
