Dario Russo, renowned for his expertise in the bel canto repertoire, has performed on prestigious venues including Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, Teatro dell’Opera in Rome, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, and Bela Bartok National Concert Hall in Budapest. Under the direction of notable conductors such as Fabio Luisi, Donato Renzetti, Nello Santi, Sebastian Weigle, Pier Giorgio Morandi, Jesus Lopez-Cobos, Charles Dutoit, and guided by directors like Laurent Pelly, Robert Carsen, Klaus Guth, Christof Loy, Leo Muscato, Gabriele Lavia, Davide Livermore, and Damiano Michieletto, he has performed a range of renowned roles including Attila, Zaccaria, Henry VII, Timur, Raimondo, and others. In addition to his opera career, Dario Russo has also developed a concert career, interpreting well-known works such as Puccini’s “Messa di Gloria,”Verdi’s “Requiem,” Dvorak’s “Stabat Mater,” Rossini’s “Messe Solennelle,” Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 9 in D minor Op. 125,” among others. Dario Russo is a vocal master at the ‘Rame Lahaj’ foundation and vocal master in the singing masterclass at the fourth edition of RLIOF.
